Lore
- The Ankari, also known as the people of the Twin Rivers, are the oldest known civilization still in existence.
- Their capital city, Ank'Or, is situated between the fertile confluence of the Twin Rivers, Ank and Or. It is a sprawling metropolis of intricate architecture, towering statues, and ornate temples.
- The Ankari Artificiers are masters of elemental manipulation and are revered in their society as direct descendants of the gods themselves.
- Artificers do not have any innate magic abilities. Instead, they have learned to use the artifacts left by the Fallen Gods(Empty) to channel their various "spells".
- All known artifacts have been touched by The Rot, and using them without any training can cause one to become a Bloomed.
- With training, most people can learn to wield minor artifacts, but some choose to go beyond that.
- To become an artificer, one must graft a powerful artifact called a Locus directly onto their chest. If they survive the procedure, the Locus must then be imbued with a primordial element.
- A Locus can only hold one element, and each artificer can only survive the attachment of one Locus.
Overview
- The Artificier is a ranged damage class that focuses on mastering a single primordial element.
- Depending on the element, they can excel at single target, AOE damage, or crowd control.
